Client context

Interior enquiries are not all the same.

MakeHome Interiors is an interior-design business operating in Hyderabad.

Potential customers can have different property types, locations, budgets, timelines, project requirements and levels of purchase intent. One person may be ready for a full-home project; another may still be comparing. Some enquiries may not be relevant at all.

The campaign needed to generate useful volume while helping us understand which enquiries deserved further attention.

The campaign challenge

Month 1 needed to produce enquiries—and learning.

Efficiency

How much did each recorded enquiry cost, and could the budget produce enough activity?

Relevance

Were the enquiries genuine, reachable and relevant to the business?

Next action

What needed to change in targeting, creative, forms or follow-up?

Initial strategy

Treat the first month as acquisition and diagnosis.

01

Generate sufficient volume

A campaign needs enough activity before useful response patterns can be identified.

02

Establish a CPL benchmark

Cost per enquiry provided an initial advertising-efficiency reference for this campaign and market.

03

Review quality, not only quantity

The total enquiry count was not treated as the final measure of success.

04

Use feedback for optimisation

Campaign data becomes more useful when connected with what happens after the lead is captured.

Execution

Patterns mattered more than one poor lead.

Nexminds set up, ran and monitored the Meta Ads campaign, reviewing spend, enquiry volume, CPL, campaign response and available lead-quality signals.

Early enquiries were treated as signals. Patterns across location, relevance, reachability and intent were more useful than reacting to one isolated submission.

This is especially important during the initial learning phase, when poor-fit, unreachable or low-intent enquiries may still appear.

Campaign results

Volume increased while CPL remained approximately stable.

Earlier snapshot

79 enquiries

Approximately ₹12,600 in spend at roughly ₹160 CPL.

Later snapshot

96 enquiries

Approximately ₹15,312 in spend at roughly ₹159 CPL.

The client continued working with Nexminds into Month 2.

What we learned

A stable CPL is useful—but incomplete.

Volume creates learning

Generating 96 enquiries gave the campaign enough activity to examine real response patterns.

CPL is not quality

₹159 showed the cost of a form submission, not how many became meaningful opportunities.

Lead feedback is data

Reachability and relevance can guide location, qualification, creative and audience decisions.

Ads and sales connect

What happens next depends on response, portfolio presentation, follow-up and outcome tracking.

Beyond CPL

Here is what one number cannot answer.

  • Was the phone number correct?
  • Did the person answer?
  • Was the location relevant?
  • Did the project match the business?
  • Was a consultation booked?
  • Was a quotation sent?
  • Did follow-up happen?
  • Was the project won?

A more useful journey

Enquiry → Reachable → Genuine → Relevant → Qualified → Consultation → Quotation → Won project

What happened next

The campaign changed how Nexminds thinks about its service.

Generating enquiries remains important. But a stronger acquisition system also needs qualification, quick notification, status tracking, follow-up visibility and lead-quality feedback.

The client remains responsible for consultations, quotations, follow-up and closing. Nexminds focuses on improving the advertising, qualification, tracking and feedback system surrounding that work.
